Donating my horse is probably one of the hardest things!! I have lost sleep over this decision wondering if it's the right thing to do? But in order to get my new gelding, I have to give up Sassy! :( I wish I could just have both. But Daddy is not falling for my
puppy dog eyes this time!
I am going to try to donate her to Courage Reins so she can be a Therapeutic horse for kids with disabilities...I know she would be happy there & get lots of attention!
Also I can volunteer there and that way I will still be able to see & work with Sassy.
She goes there for 30 days training to see if she has what it takes to be a therapeutic horse....I hope she makes it!!
I will love & miss you Sass! Even though you have tried to buck me off a number of times when I first got you...you are turning into a good horse & I hope with going to Courage Reins you will make it your permanent home & take good care of the kids!
