It’s crazy what makes you wake up and realize what’s important in life. Last night Wes and I were driving on Redwood Road and witnessed the horrible crash that killed 2 people and left one in critical condition. I can’t get the noise out of my head. I am so grateful that Wes and I were not hit also, because the car that caused the accident was passing us as he lost control.
It kills me to know that 2 families had to get the phone call or knock on their door telling them the awful news of their deceased loved ones. I can’t even comprehend how that would feel! I am torn apart knowing that life can end in a split second.
Knowing this makes me never want to get upset at Wes again (or anyone else for that matter) because you never know when your last words with that person is going to be. It also made me realize that every minute of my life is a blessing from God. I shouldn't take my life or anyone else's life for granted.
It’s made me realize that the things in life that are important are the ones you love.
